The WAH
Toolbox!
Tools, materials and… a lot of links.
Henlo, curious critters!
Ever wondered what goes into making a WAH? Well, you’ve come to the right place!
Welcome to my little collection of favorite materials and resources that I use at WAHsuits.
From fursuit making and sewing to 3D printing, digital fabrication and merch production, this is where I share the things that help bring my creations to life.
Whether you’re a beginner maker or an experienced creator, I hope you’ll discover something useful!
Sewing Materials
From fluffy faux fur to stretchy minky, threads, needles and all the little things that hold a fursuit together.
I’ve written quite a bit about faux fur, fabrics and sewing materials in the free resources from my latest panel. You can find everything right here!
Tools & Equipment
I use different 3D printers for different purposes, but for my fursuit-making journey, my most-used machines are the Creality K1 Max and the Bambu H2C.
If you’re just getting started in 2026, I’d also suggest looking into the Creality K2 Plus as a newer alternative.
I’m also planning to release some free 3D models for everyone to use! I just need a little more time to get everything ready.
Software
On the software side, I used ZBrush a lot before Maxon acquired it.
If you’re just starting out, Blender is an amazing option! I’ve also heard that Nomad Sculpt is very intuitive.
These tools are part of the digital side of WAHsuits, from 3D modeling and sculpting to designing and preparing things for production.
Useful Patterns
Nobody learns everything alone! Here you’ll find useful patterns, templates and resources created by talented makers.
Check out this collection of fursuit patterns!
It’s not a complete list of every pattern in the world, but it’s incredibly useful and covers most of the parts you might need to make your own fursuit.
Special thanks to Rangerkatt’s Creation for putting this Trello board together!
This page is always growing as I experiment with new materials, discover new tools and explore new technologies.
Because knowledge sharing is caring!
— Pin the PandaOne thing to keep in mind while creating your own projects is to be as resourceful as possible! While I may have used one particular item, product, or technique in creating a costume or item — if you find something similar for less cost, or found a different way — share that information with others! You may find something better, or a different technique, and it will only develop innovation. I highly encourage you to share your ideas and experiences with others because it fosters further knowledge and innovation.

WAHIT!
There’s more!
Did you really think I was going to gatekeep my manufacturers? Not on my watch!
Here’s a little collection of the shops and manufacturers I use for my personal branding and WAHsuits merch.
For AliExpress resources, I’ll link directly to the seller’s shop rather than individual product listings. That way, these links should stay useful for longer, even if a specific product gets removed.
These are resources I’ve used, not a guarantee that every product or order will be identical. Always check the latest specifications, reviews and shipping costs!
